Objectives
Our investigation area in tissue characterization focuses on analyzing backscattering properties for quantitative ultrasound, assessing local stiffness through elastography and pulse wave velocity measures, and determining tissue anisotropy. These methods aim to enhance our understanding of tissue properties to potentially improve diagnosis.
Topics
- Cancer characterization through spectral analysis of the backscattered signals (read more).
- Measurement of arterial pulse wave velocity using plane-wave ultrafast ultrasound.
- Analysis of tissue orthotropy with 3-D plane-wave imaging.
