Official inauguration of the CREATIS PILoT platform on Tuesday 18 October 2022. The inauguration of the 11.7T MRI had been cancelled due to a COVID wave in October 2020. The CNRS has decided on a joint inauguration with a MATEIS equipment also co-financed by the CNRS and the AURA region.
Accompanied by Jean-Luc Duplan, Deputy Regional Academic Director for Research and Innovation, representing Olivier Dugrip, Rector of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes academic region, Rector of the Lyon academy, Chancellor of the Universities, Catherine Staron, Vice President for Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Anne-Christine Hladky, Deputy Scientific Director of the CNRS Institute of Engineering Sciences and Systems (INSIS-CNRS), Frédéric Fotiadu, Director of INSA Lyon, and Ruben Vera, Vice-President of Lyon 1 platforms and technical advisor for major facilities, Eric Maire, Director of the MatéIS laboratory and Olivier Beuf, Director of the CREATIS laboratory inaugurated these new research platforms on the Lyon-Tech-La Doua campus.
