Spatio-temporal Image Analysis

Problem

The global analysis of a dynamic process on the basis of image sequences is still relatively underdeveloped at the present time. The addition of an extra dimension effectively adds to the complexity, so methods that include specific regularizations and a priori on the image production system and/or analyzed process must be developed.

Methodological perspectives

We propose working on the segmentation and tracking of deformable structures by means of two different approaches which, from a medical application point of view, concern different imaging modalities.
