This page describes the different interactions available in creaImageIO interface.

Add file(s)
Add file(s)		  Allow to select and add one or more file(s) to creaImageIO database.
 Add folder
Add folder		  Allow to select and add files from folders to creaImageIO database. This process could be perfomed in a recursive way.

Add database		  Allow to select and load a database to creaImageIO application. User can load different databases to manage different descriptions.
 
Help		  Display an online documentation.
 
System Settings		  Allow to display a dialog box to modify creaImageIO Settings.
 
Remove		  Allow to remove a specific entry from database end interface. The entry could be a single file (one image) or a complete patient (all referenced files to the patient).
 
Synchronize		  Allow to synchronize the current database with current state of files and folders (detect new files, new directory or removed files).
 
Tools		  Allow to load third party application.
 
Create DB		  Allow to create its own database description.


Add File(s)
This function allows to add one file or more to creaImageIO database. user shall select files to insert. By clicking OK, selected files are automatically added if they are not already referenced on DB. The values of attributes used in DB characterization are extracted. The result of Add files action is displayed on creaImageIO panel.
Note that if the patient already exist in DB,  added files will be only displayed as new entries of this patient not as a "new" patient.


Add Folder
This function allows to add all files in the selected directory function. For each file, an add file action is performed. User have the possibility to select if the operation should be performed in a recursive way. By checking the corrsponding box, all folders present in original folder will be scanned to detect medical images.


Add Database
This function allows to add database to creaImageIO interface. User can load different databases to manage different descriptions. Database names are present on tabs in creaImageIO interface.
Note that all added database will be automatically registered in user settings. On next lauch of creImageIO, they will be present too.


Create DB
This function allows to create its own description for creaImageIO user. The new description could be saved or used to create a new database (automatically added to creaImageIO).

Help
This function displays current webpage to provide informations to creaImageIO user. The available help are creaImageIO description page (and all creatool descriptions) and sources documentation.


Remove
This function allow to remove files from current creaImageIO database. creaImageIO will remove the selected file(s) and its associated children files. For exemple, if user remove a study, all files belonged to this study will be removed too.
Note if user wants add the deleted patient again, he shall perfom synchronization mechanism before.


Synchronization
This function allows to synchronize current database. The synchronization allows to change in files attributes, detect new or deleted files and directory in folders and report modifications in creaImageIO database.
Four actions are available :

  • check added and deleted files, provide a repport.
  • check added and deleted files and check attributes, provide a repport.
  • repair current creaImageIO database if new or deleted files are detected.
  • repair current creaImageIO database if some attributes are different.
  •  



System Settings
This function allows to modify some creaImageIO settings. The available settings are:

  • Customize configuration: user can modify the path for the copied files (for import-export process), add or remove some additional database, modify settings for synchronization mechanism.
  • PACS connection : in developping...
  • CD/DVD listener: user can modify on what USB port or CD/DVD reader creaImageIO should listen. He also can change the behavior in the case of some files are detected : add file in temporay files if disk is unmounted, ...
  • Selection of attributes : user can show/hide some attributes of current database. The data values of showen/hidden attributes will be (not) displayed in creaImageIO interface.



Tools
This function allows to load a third party application or start an external software.
