The LabEx PRIMES (Physics, Radiobiology, Medical Imaging, and Simulation), which brings together 18 laboratories from the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, has structured a multidisciplinary scientific community ranging from fundamental physics to instrumentation, from radiobiology to data acquisition and processing, from image reconstruction to simulation and modeling using computational methods. Its research focuses on cancer and aging-related pathologies, with a particular emphasis on innovative imaging and radiotherapy techniques.
On its own initiative, LabEx PRIMES has compiled a scientific report organized into 13 chapters in the form of review articles, highlighting the major scientific advances achieved over its first 12 years.
The book "Twelve Years of LabEx PRIMES (2012-2024)" is now available online here: https://zenodo.org/records/14806063, with contributions from numerous members of CREATIS.
