The ULTIM team is pushing the boundaries of medical ultrasound imaging. We use advanced signal/image processing and 3-D techniques to reveal hidden details of tissues and blood flow. Our research analyzes every step from sensor design to real-time analysis, revealing critical information in ultrasound images for next-generation medical devices.
Our team focuses on four main investigation areas: 3-D ultrasound, blood flow, signal and image processing, and tissue characterization. These areas are interlinked, often relying on one another to advance our understanding and innovation in the field.
