WARNING

Due to a mistake from our part, the current Fedora packaged versions and Windows Installers don't allow the 'Graph' generation, for any script.

Patch :

Run bbStudio, use menu 'File', option 'Edit bbtk Config File', and insert a line

<default_temp_dir>

just before last line :

click on 'Save' icon,

and restart bbStudio.

 Warning : the installer is a .rar archive; if you don't have a software to handle such a file, download it here.


  1. Uncompress the archive
  2. Run Install.bat
  3. Run PostInstall.bat
IMPORTANT NOTES:
  1. You must be connected to the internet (the installer downloads the software from the internet)
  2. Check "Add to system path for all users" in the "Install options" screen of each setup
  3. If you change the default install path of creaImageIO then PostInstall script will fail to plug creaImageIO package for bbtk. You will have to do it manually (read bbtk Users' Guide)

Third party software / libraries


Windows users:

To ease the install procedure, we provide an installer - crea_ThirParty_dlls - which installs all the third party dlls of vtk, itk and wxWidgets required for a given build version of the CreaTools suite.

A devel version - crea_ThirdParty_Libraries -  including the libraries headers and static libraries, is also available.
 

We also provide an archive containing the installers for various developer tools needed : crea_Developer_Tools
 

Of course, you can use your own built/installed third party libraries but *at your own risks*. you have to:

  • Check in the table below  that your own libraries versions match those provided by crea_ThirdParty_dlls. Take care to check for the right crea_ThirdParty_dlls version too, i.e. for the one which is required by the version of the CreaTools suite you want to install (e.g. CreaTools 1.0.0 requires crea_ThirdParty_dlls 1.0.0) !
  • If ALL the versions match, then you can use your own libs : during CreaTools installation, click 'Cancel' when crea_ThirdParty_dlls installer starts.
    • If some versions do NOT match, you CANNOT use your own libs. You MUST then use the libraries provided by crea_ThirdParty_dlls. However, if you want to use BOTH versions you need to do this :
    • Check if your own libs are in the system path
    • If they are NOT in the system path, no problem, install crea_ThirdParty_dlls normally, checking 'Add crea_ThirdParty_dlls to the system path' when asked.
        • If they are in the system path and you CANNOT remove them (they need to be found for running other software) then you must :
          • Install crea_ThirdParty_dlls but checking 'Do not add crea_ThirdParty_dlls to the system path'.
          • copy all the dlls installed by crea_ThirdParty_dlls in the binary directories of the CreaTools suite, e.g. in C:Program FilesCreaToolsbbtk-0.9.0bin, C:Program FilesCreaToolscreaContoursbin, etc.
          • pray !
