[Vv] VV installation error

Hello all,

I am a new user to VV, and also an inexperienced user with linux. I am
trying to install properly VV on my computer, which is using Scientific
Linux (Red Hat), and encountered the following error during the make
procedure:

Scanning dependencies of target vv

[ 54%] Building CXX object vv/CMakeFiles/vv.dir/vvInfoPanel.o

/home/catarina/vv-src/vv/vvInfoPanel.cxx:1: error: bad value (native) for
-march= switch

/home/catarina/vv-src/vv/vvInfoPanel.cxx:1: error: bad value (native) for
-mtune= switch

make[2]: *** [vv/CMakeFiles/vv.dir/vvInfoPanel.o] Error 1

make[1]: *** [vv/CMakeFiles/vv.dir/all] Error 2

make: *** [all] Error 2
