[Vv] Bug in manual registration?

  Hi all,

every time I try a manual registration, immediately after trying to adjust one 
of the sliders, I get

"before bug" = [ before bug ]
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Tracing the error message in the CVS gives bharath as the author, for the 
following commit:

Added AutoRegister..........

Any idea how to fix this?
