[Vv] VV information

Hello,
We have started to work on the second step which also happens to solve
the first one. It has been committed, let me know if you encounter any
problem with it.
Due to this major change :
- the tool crop image has been disabled. It will be re-enabled as soon
as it has been adapted to the new version.
- the option split of the image popup menu has been removed. It will
be replaced by a "Open a nD image as several (n-1) images" asap.
