Une piste :
PS 3.5-2004, pages 38-39, ils donnent la signification des Data Element 
Types : 1, 1C, 2, 2C, 3
(numerotation DICOM normalisée ...)

et dans PS 3.3-2004 (894 pages....)
il y, pour les modalités, le Data Element Type des élements présents 
pour cette modalité.
ex :
p 430 : X RAY
p 440 : RT
p 608 : MR
etc
