I received a MSc degree in 1987 and a PhD in 1991 from the Scientific and Technological University of Lille, France. Since 1992, I am with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) at CREATIS, Lyon, France. My primary research interests are in the bioengineering and medical image analysis fields, and include medical image processing workflows, multidimensional/multimodal image segmentation and registration, motion estimation and deformable models with applications to the 3D analysis of the heart functions and the motion of thoracic structures.

I am the initiator with P. Croisille of the inTag Software for the integrated Analysis of tagged Magnetic Resonance Images (Tagged-MRI). Initially developed within MATLAB in collaboration with CARIM Lab in Maastricht, it has been ported to an OsiriX plugin with the Axinoe Company. It is freely accessible through a scientific collaboration. Please visit the inTag web site: http://www.creatis.insa-lyon.fr/inTag
Through several thesis, we developed software for the dynamic segmentation and tracking of the heart within cardiac MRI sequences, motion estimation and image registration. Some of them are available on demand.
