Hi

Anyone has used vv to fuse two images of different modalities?
I am trying to fuse MRI and US images, because the voxel
intensity range are rather different: MRI image voxel intensity
can be as high as 1000 while US is less than 100.

When I load US as overlay, it is too dark to see, wonder if
I need to normalize intensities of two images before
using vv to fuse? Or is it possible to use two window/level
setups for MRI and US individually.
Hi Tian,

You can use the overlay functionality, then:
- go in the overlay tab
- uncheck the window/level link box (that link the window/level of both images)
- set the window level of the overlay manually or use ctrl+w which will try to find the best window/level for the overlay using a little part of the image under your mouse.

Most of these functionalities are listed if you press F1
